I'm not sure if anyone is still here, but I thought it was worth a shot =)
I've been watching (and rewatching) the season sets - and how much do I love that four of the five seasons are on DVD? *squee* - and, as is wont to happen when I go on a glom like this, I've had the urge to write a bit of fanfic. Early season fanfic, even! There's just one small hitch...
Does anyone know what the age difference is between Matt and Jenny - or even if there is one? I think Matt is supposed to be the oldest, but I could totally buy them being twins. There wasn't much made of it in the first season; instead, all of the characters are reiterating that they've known each other for twelve years. I'd also find it a little odd if the Garrisons had two kids very close in age, and then one eight years (or more) later. Odd, but not unbelievable.
Anyone have any ideas/theories?

An interesting challenge was posed on a Kids Inc forum a few weeks ago, to cross KI with California Dreams. Boy, did mention of this show bring back memories! I used to watch both shows religiously back in the day - and since I've been on a nostalgia kick for the last year or so, it was far too easy to get back into this show.
So I took the challenge, and posted up my story a few days ago:
Title: Nice Guys Finish First
Fandom: California Dreams/Kids Incorporated
Universe: Canon crossover
Genre: Comedy/Friendship/Romance
Rating: T
Summary: When a gorgeous new girl begins attending Pacific Coast High, she unwittingly becomes the prize in a bet laid between Sly, Tony, and Mark. A riff on the subplot of episode 3x17, “Tiffani’s Gold.”

This past September we told you that Shout! Factory was polishing their surfboards for an upcoming DVD release of California Dreams - Season 4 via their online studio store's Shout! Select program. Today Brian Ward, a DVD producer for that company, revealed in a post at the studio's official message board that the plan is to make it available starting December 21st, with pre-orders being made available on the Shout! Select web page later this month! Stay tuned for word when that officially goes on sale, with pricing and package art for this 15-episode-long next-to-last season!

You can now pre-order season 3 of the series on the Shout! Factory website. It will not be available in stores, and will be released in just 2 weeks, May 18, 2010!!
The price is $29.99 + S&H. It looks like the only bonus materials are the video jukeboxes. It is a 3 disc set.

You may let the folks know I've been helping to get everyone together for some interviews .... except Jay has moved to Australia ... so I don't think he will be in them! I'm only three years late in posting these. ;) Long story short, I won a trip to meet the cast of California Dreams a loooong time ago. Came across some of the pictures recently and decided to post. Please ignore that I was a most boyish looking thirteen year old girl. (I actually look like a woman now, LOL.)

First post. :)
I can't believe I forgot to post until now.
A few weeks ago I went to Hollywood for a taping, and I went to Amoeba. The first place I went to were the posters. While I was looking through them I saw a clearance box of books. I went throught it and found a book of the cast of Saved by the Bell: The New Class. It was only $1 so I decided to buy it. As I'm waiting for my friends while they're looking through the store, I got hot so I started to fan myself with the book. As I'm fanning myself, I notice something familiar: on the other cover of the book is the cast of California Dreams. It turns out that half of the book is SBTB:TNC, and the other half is the cast of California Dreams. I'll post pics of it if anyone wants to see; It's in pretty good condition.
Just thought I would share. :)
Now if only I could find my California Dreams board game...

Hey, I was wondering if anyone knows about the original version of "She's Not You"? I read somewhere that Jake sung a newer version, so does that mean that Matt sung this song first? Just a bit confused and need some clearing up!! LOL...
PS. If this is true, does anyone have this version?
